What is a Pipe Clamps & their types

A pipe clamp is a fastening device that provides technical support in securing threaded pipes in various applications. These clamps are commonly manufactured in different sizes, most often in 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch.

One side of the clamp head is fixed onto the pipe and spins onto standard pipe threads. The tightening of the clamp is achieved through a screw mechanism, which is integrated into the head. The second movable head slides to the opposite end of the pipe and, like the first head, also features a mechanism.

This mechanism typically includes a set of mobile clutches or mechanical devices that allow the head to glide along the pipe during adjustment. Once clamping force is applied, the device secures itself firmly to the threaded pipe.
